I agree!

What use is the opinion of someone who doesn't like to watch such masterpieces as the six Saw films, Seven, 28 Days Later, Deathwatch, American History X, Saving Private Ryan, Hamburger Hill, etc!!

(gets tin hat ...)

Havn't listened to him on R5 - isn't that the one he does with Simon Mayo? Can't stand Mayo myself.

I've seen Kermode on TV quite often and really like him, I thought he would do Film 2010 justice.

She is cute though...

Puppies are cute but you wouldn't want to hear their views on films.

She strikes me as being too much part of the celeb crowd. Question 1: Who is your favourite pop band? etc.

Or do you reckon the interviews and reviews will be deeper?

Claudia Anne I. Winkleman[1] (born 15 January 1972) is a British television presenter, radio personality and journalist. She is the daughter of Eve Pollard, former editor of the Sunday Express, and Barry Winkleman, former publisher of The Times Atlas of the World. Her stepfather is Sir Nicholas Lloyd, former editor of the Daily Express, and her half-sister, from her father's second marriage to children's author Cindy Black, is the actress Sophie Winkleman, wife of Lord Frederick Windsor.

Educated at New Hall, Cambridge, obtaining an MA Hons degree in History of Art might help.

I don't care for her much, nor do I care greatly about films, but if I wanted an opinion, Kermode's my man as well.

You're not seriously suggesting that someone got a job in the media because they were ... connected

I used to really enjoy Mark Kermode's film reviews with Simon Mayo. I thought Simon Mayo's R5 programme was great too. Claudia Winkleman is hot
