I want to make a short film of my commute. I have an iPhone. Will I get the best results with it on my helmet or on the bike?

Try leaving it in your pocket.

I think that you'll be exposed to similar risks of phone damage unless you have a fool/fall proof method of attaching it.

If you want a 'straight' view - handlebar mount, if you want to include all the head turning and looking around etc., helmet mount - or do a combination of the two if it's a regular commute and do some editing after (like Matthew's video above - nice vid BTW).

I am trying to get a new one made with my new bike. I have a plan but just need to make it affective.

I wouldn't trust any straps or bands to hold my Galaxy, I'd need to know it's dead secure. Come to think of it, there could be a market for cycling jerseys with a transparent posket to pop an android or iphone in, you could have another little pocket for the

LASER GUIDED ANGRY SHARK MISSILE.
