I'm the opposite. I rode a B17 for years as a yoof, but when I bought a new one after a few years on different saddles I couldn't stand it for more than 20 minutes at a time, and even that was hard work. Awful saddles

The saddle doesn't bed in. Your backside deforms to fit the shape. This is an agonising process which takes about 16 years.

I have Brooks swift on my road bike, it's been FAB from day one as has the B17 I have on my shopper bike, not a had a moments bother from either of them. For balance I have the stock saddle on my hybrid and on my MTB and I have no problems with them either. Thus proving once again I have nothing to add of any interest too anyone.

I have a B67 on the ebike and a B17 narrow on the Dawes. Both are excellent, as was the B17 Standard that went when the old Galaxy got sold *kicks own butt*.
A glob of Proofide, well rubbed in and left overnight three or four times softens them wonderfully. Don't overdo it, though.

it's quite a way from wearing someone else's shorts..are you of the female variety?...maybe then it would be understandable,if not,don't be so neshNo i couldn't do that.
