Should be tasered as punishment for their selfish idiocy.

Excellent news, and about time! Let's hope that other middle lane hoggers read this story and use the LEFT lane, unless overtaking. Same goes for the Audi/BMW nobbers who insist on driving in the right hand lane, no matter how quiet the other lanes are. I see them all the time on quiet stretches of motorway, even at 3am. Complete tossers.

I'm thinking of becoming a camera wielding nobber.

I'm so sick of poor driving, I'd love to get some - most - drivers disqualified. Yesterday:

Pulling out onto a motorway at 70mph across two lanes far too close to traffic...whilst texting.

I've heard of barrel-rolling. Overtake in fast lane. Pull to slow lane and slow diwn until they pass you. Then overtake in fast lane again...keep repeating until they get the message.

I was on the M1 when I passed a middle lane hogger. The car in front of me must have beeped and pointed left, as did I. The driver must have thought there was something wrong with his car has he pulled to the shoulder and stopped. Nothing wrong with the car, just his driving

I do it, often,
or
The half barrel roll, blast up the inside lane at 10mph faster than they are going, overtake missing their back bumper by 4m, ideally with full headlights on, into the 3rd lane to accelerate past them, and then straight back into the 1st lane and slightly reduce the speed so that you remain there as long as possible, but still going faster than they are. (This is best done in a large vehicle, ideally with the full "daylight" 12 inch double lights I had on a Landrover, on full beam the reflection on the inside on the front vehicle made driving impossible)
or
in the case of a crowded motorway where option 1 and 2 are not reasonable, then the slow crawl up the inside lane where you keep exactly to their speed right beside them, they feel trapped.

A good proportion don't get the message. I think that they believe the inside lane is only for people of no consequence and to be seen there is somehow beneath their dignity.
