Curved blades on nail clippers, what bright spark thought that was a good idea? You can cut any radius with a straight cutter, but a curved edge won't cut a radius that's larger than its own.

I've a torn nail on the index finger of my dominant hand and I just can't get scissors onto the loose piece. I keep catching it on things and it's painful but I'm just going to have to put up with it until it falls off itself or grows enough to get the scissors in.

I am in pretty much the same boat so I have put a plaster on it to stop it catching and to stop me trying to pull it off and make the situation worse.

I've never needed to cut my fingernails, as I still have all my own teeth, , but now I'm of a certain age I do now need tools to cut my toenails. Used my Swiss army knife scissors for years but due to recurring in grown toenails have recently bought a proper podiatry cutters, and a couple of proddy tools designed to manage that affliction with no further issue.

Not heard the name "Ronco" for a while. The Buttoneer springs to mind.
