First 50 Miler.....

Congrats, did my first 50 last weekend and have now signed up for the Saxon classic 100k next month with some guys from work.

Well, more recently, I headed out this morning for what was supposed to be 25-30 miles. Cycled to Fintry (13 miles) then though I might as well keep going. Through Kippen, then Stirling, Fallin, Airth, Kelpies, Bonnybridge and home to Denny.

55 miles.

My longest cycle to date and first (mostly) continuous one of that kind of length.

Then got a puncture 5 minutes from home.

Thanks for all the comments but........ came back off hols and found loads of congrats for something i did a year ago.... it's the thought that counts though..... interestingly though I havent had the time to get anywhere a 50 miler in since ......... but heres hoping for soon....

I'll put a 50 in for you - got a 50 mile trip out on Friday and a 50 back on Saturday. Hope the sun shines!
