First commute for 2 weeks....

Got an 11am start so hopefully ill have time to clean and lube my bike before I have to leave.

Not ridden at all during my time off, not feeling particularly fit after all the cookies and mince pies ig:. But feeling motivated, only 16 miles.....

i figured i would be the same on the 2nd Jan, but the opposite was true. legs felt strong and i thoroughly enjoyed my 15 mile commute.
don't think to much about your festive indulgence, you should be fine

I felt like a right fatso cycling in today - 2 weeks of no cycling or footie.

Planning on leaving a bit earlier than normal, partly because I think I'll be a fair bit slower due to fitness, but also traffic (I'm used to the journey in at 6am so dead quiet ) :-)

Well in true me style, I didn't get up early enough to do everything I wanted so will be taking the car

Did manage to clean my bike though
