30km home this evening, courteous drivers, chilly but not too cold, bit of a headwind and time to get my head cleared after a busy day at work. And a nice hot bath when I got home...

Hopefully it won't be long til I'm back to commuting most days

I can't remember exactly but over a year ago; I'm back on my bike after many months off due to recurring illness so building it up slowly. I'm trying to keep at 25-30km a day (did a couple of 50km rides but was too tired after them so being sensible again) and thought tonight would be a good time to try to work in a ride home as I'm off tomorrow and don't have to cycle back in first thing just in case it was too much....

It was great to get home tonight with a clear head and feel like I'd done some exercise rather than sat in my car and still have a fuddled head.
