Same for me and I would think same for most cycle commuters really.

Driving in with my suit tomorrow and running, should be cycling tues, weds, fris.

Didn't clean and oil the bike, but I did replace the rear inner tube (again) and have added a spare, chain tool and chain links to the repair kit. ;)

Had a good ten days off training so keen to get back on it.

Looking for a megameter in January ;)

Hmm. Forgot that first commute = heavy bag with laptop, clothes, shoes, etc in it. Much slower than I had hoped, and missed a handful of 2016 KOMs.

I've not cleaned the bike or lubed the chain. I was hoping to fit new tyres, cassette and chain over the weekend but my decking never dried out and it's lethal in the wet so I had nowhere to put the workstand.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I'm back on Tuesday. Will probably take it easy, not that I've got much choice with my average speed!
Im not back till tomorrow night too, booked the day as its mini ck #2 `s birthday today .

No cleaning was done here either, but I did manage to commute this morning on my first day back in.
Was a struggle I can tell you, but I did have about 10kg in the paniers.

Only managed 20 days by bike for the whole of last year, hoping to double that this year.

Used my new Garmin 520 with heart rate add on. It has a feature which gauges your condition and recommends a recovery time after exercise. My first commute of the year 8 km's to work took 30 minutes, according to the new bike computer I now require 41 hours of recovery time.
The 520 is either set wrong or set very correctly and I am in terrible shape, me thinks the latter.

First commute today (well part one anyway), not too bad. Needed that after nearly two weeks off, felt lazy and lethargic. Didnt clean my bike, but managed to wipe down, lubricate and check over. This years challenge is to do a sportive, fed up with the Mrs getting all the medals and trophies for her running.
