I had my scariest moment involving a car just a few months back in the summer.
Looked behind me, saw one car quite a long way back, so indicated right and moved into the middle of the road. Heard the car approaching at high speed and expected it to undertake me, instead of which, the w*anker decided to overtake just as I was making the right turn! Nasty mess in the middle of the road narrowly avoided!

Obviously a muppet, but how was he the first muppet of the year if this happened months ago in the summer?

I think the best bet is to make yourself a new years resolution to ignore the nobbers, getting excited by all of this rarely does anything other than raise your own blood pressure.

Seeing as everybody else is having a moan about dillock motorists i'll throw my two penneth in as well. Nothing exiting but while out this afternoon i approached a small roundabout. I checked then moved into the lane for going straight ahead or turning right. Some scumbag couldn't wait for me to just get out of his/her way so they overtook me missing me by about 1ft then turned left. The bastard didn't even bother to indicate as they swiped past me, showing their contempt for cyclists. It only takes one sh!t bucket like this to ruin a ride!

Happened to me at Bow,some dick in a 4x4 Panzer BMW decides to go for the space cutting me off in the process...Was alert to what was going on so still managed to overtake (to get into the cycle lane which would have delayed him by two seconds originally) and calling him a w/ker in the process.

Sadly by the look on his face I actually believe he didn't actually know what he did wrong.

The problem this guy had was that while riding his fixie his brake cable snapped, He did not intentionally run the red light.

My Muppet nomination goes to all the car drivers beeping at some poor woman who broke down at a busy junction this morning.No one helped her as she tried to push her car to the side of the road.Luckily me and another cyclist were"nt so twatty and helped her out.
