First night ride last night!

Another first for me last night! Less than a week after my first audax I done a 70 mile ride from Brampton to Sunderland last night.

Was amazing and recommend it to anyone who is a keen cyclist

Not something I've considered before but I can see the attraction. Was it on the roads or cycle paths, road or MTB? Any tips?

We took all road route and was really quiet so great for people not to confident on the road. Some of the lads used mountain bikes but majority road

Tips use a good front light - cree I use and make sure you have spare batteries as they don't last ages. Back light - mine was to powerful unfortunately and other cyclists weren't keen on it.

Take nibbles in a tube bag. Jellies fruit nuts etc, eat little but often.

Stay as a group and above all have fun!

I`v done night rides on the mtb, but not the road bike. I must do one on the road bike, sounds awesome

Edit... I did one on Christmas day, only 12 or so miles though.
