- will be in about 25 minutes time, brushing past the mopediots in the bus lanes perhaps, as well as the go very fast motorbikes...
Might do a couple of laps of Regents Park if I feel virtuous enough:smile: - then again...27kms of 'pleasure' in order to work. I'm thinking of putting my journey time up by 8% - in line with the recent fare increases.

has yet to materialize. i'm still suffering from sore throat and a cough, so it was the car to get to work today

on the plus side, i'll be bringing a boot full of logs home.

First commute in this morning after having a couple of weeks off to get over this stupid cough/cold/man flu thing.

Must admit my body must have been ready for it managed an average 14mph over 4.5 miles which I was really chuffed with.

Feel totally knackered now but think that's because my stupid student neighbours decided that they weren't going to sleep last night. How can someone make so much noise running up and down stairs? Sounds like a marauding horde.

How hum at least they are only there for another few months.

Definitely out this weekend though. Need to put some miles in.

Went out for my first ride in about five weeks after suffering from a succession of tonsillitis, flue and colds. I did a nice loop of 10 miles and averaged 11 mph which pleasantly surprised me as the circuit is far from flat.

Just before reaching home I bumped into Postman who fell in love with my bike and is now actively contemplating a visit to Woodrups to explore the possibilities of expanding his collection.

How much does it cost to Oldham?

Lucky bugger - I was brought up in Derbyshire and worked and did my MSc in Sheffy. I miss it still.

I did my degree over there and still jib back over for a blast on the MTB every now and again. happy days.

For the record, I did a quick lumpy 20 this morning. nice.
