Clipless is definitely the way to go and once your used to them you'll not want to change back. One thing to be careful of is that if you move off and can't get clip in quickly and need to use the shoe of the unclipped pedal to complete a rotation of the pedals, push the minimum required because if the shoe slips off the pedal invariably your ankle bone takes the hit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
