I have been off the bike for about a month for various reasons but today I got out and did a 42K ride, what a good feeling it was to get the pedals turning again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Temporarily back in England, and as I haven't cycled for months, bought an old Specialised hack bike to keep me busy for the next 3-4 weeks whilst I'm here.
Just had a quick spin so far, and it felt great, but I don't like riding in 'civvy clothes', so I'll have to buy some more kit. Shame!
Hope to do 2-3 hours a day.
Anyone know any good rides in the Exeter area?

Talking of books, the following books are available (as long as you pass them along to other Cycle Chat subscribers):-

Kimmage - Rough Ride
Armstrong - It's not about the bike (courtesy of Tete)
Armstrong - Every second counts (courtesy of Tete)
Coyle: Lance Armstrong - Tour de Force (Times correspondent writes about the Man - recently found in bookcase)

Any takers?
