Hey all, I've been commuting by push bike (Brompton) for some time now, I'm fed up of the daily crap I get from ignorant drivers so I've just bought a couple of cheapy cameras from eBay and tried them out, these are the highlights from within a 24 hour period.
There are 2 camera views for each incident, one follows the other.

Hiya and welcome here! Do you know about the Met Police Roadsafe initiative? If you report your drivers on there and include the youtube link, then they will usually write the registered owner a letter and include the video link. That's a great way to bring consequences to bad driving and get people to change their ways.

Here's the link:

Next question is do you also have a rear facing camera?

I don't know if it's just me, but the black cab one seems to be corrupted and isn't playing properly, that 4x4 and those PHS drivers are just ignorant though.

Hello, and welcome!

I think that in the first vid, you are too close in to the curb, and give yourself no room to allow for bad vehicle driving. I think that as you approach the zebra crossing and mini RAB, you should have moved out into the centre of the lane, to discourage the sort of crap overtaking your vid shows.

The other two examples are really dreadful driving. Contact the carriage office re the second vid, and the company concerned re the third.

Good feedback regarding the mini roundabout, I'll make an effort to take the lane in future.

Here's another incident with a moped, he's annoyed because he couldn't push past me whilst we were filtering past the Transit (I checked it was safe to move over before starting the filter, plus I could hear where he was) - he started to ride with his front wheel almost touching the rear of my bike so I stopped and turned to face him - after the verbal altercation (excuse both of our languages!) I joined the front of the 'pack', whilst moving away from the green light, the moped rider rode straight into my side and started pushing me!! I told him I had a camera and then went around the other side of a stationary bus to get away from him. When the next set of lights went green he rode straight at me once more!!
Unfortunately I only had my helmet camera operational at the time so you can't really see too much when he rode into me.

I'm going to order a rear facing wide angled camera too. The one I have for the front has 'loop' recording so I don't need to worry about maintaining it, only charging it.

Good grief!! Astonishing!! Report it to the police without delay.

I was under impressed by the offers of assistance you didn't get from other nearby cyclists.

Without a doubt report that to the police.
