First TT tonight!!!!

Got my first TT tonight.

A hilly 18 miler.

I am dreading it as I know I'll be last, but I am going to give it a go. Loads of people at the club have posted sub 1 hour times, some dipping down to 50 mins!!! I haven't rode the course, but am averaging about 15-16mph over 30+ miles, so with a little effort and a downhill tailwind finish I am looking at about 1hr10m - 1hr15m

Weather-wise out of my window, it looks like it's going to be a headwind for the first 9 miles...and it's spitting (everybody in, it's spitting).

I'll give it a bash, then let you know how I do.

Well CP the TT is over so we are waiting to hear how you got on. Whatever the result it will be an achievement that will be the start of a new interest for you and that's important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to disappoint folks, but it was called off at the last minute due to torrential rain. I am going to ride the course this weekend to get a time on the board. Thanks for all your comments, they mean a lot, sniff....
