Trolled around London on Saturday - even popped into work for a bit - and then, as it was such a beautiful afternoon, it seemed only right to head 'Oop North London' for some bumps and lumps on the way home.
I cut through the Park / Parliament Hill fields, in order to see the City skyline in its glory and whoops!
This:

"S.E. England Cross Country" or in my instance "Planet X Country!"

Dirty women everywhere!
I made an excuse and took some snaps.

It was hard work and the ladies were breathless...

...and the mud sloshed around.

Fit and dirty!

The Under 20s boys...Walthamstow? Can't remember. And I forgot one of the skyline!

But the day belonged to the athletes! Well done.
It was too cold to watch the mens race, even though my
school team from Bannister Playing Fields were taking part!

And the weather was a treat, all the way home.

Couldn't get that to work Kirstie - I'll try again, but it did remind me that there were two gratuitous shots that sneaked in...a bit 'X-rated' but hey!

I even bought a bottle of baby oil for later that evening. Suffice to say it was the bicycle that benefitted, but the pleasure of cleaning it. Wow!

It is difficult enough as it is to persuade young women to take part participative sport without them having to worry about whether voyeuristic photos of them are going be posted onto the internet.
