Fixed commuter - must take real mudguards and a real rack

So, recently, I had a seatpost and saddle nicked on my commuter/audax/touring/training bike. That's over £250 of post and saddle, and has got me paranoid (first time I have ever had a bit of a bike stolen, never had a whole bike stolen) and realising that commuting on a Condor Tempo with lots of trick bits (flashy Sugino cranks and chainrings, SONdelux dynohub etc. etc.) is daft. Losing the saddle etc. is less about the money (though that stings quite a bit!) but more about losing something with a position that I am happy with etc. Also the sentimental stuff like the 10000km of adventures me and the Tempo have had in the past year etc.

Anyway - I am in the market for a fixed (I will take a singlespeed, especially if there is the option of converting it to fixed) that must take proper mudguards and a proper rack.

I am struggling to look beyond the Genesis Day One Disc at the moment (though not a lot of stock in the 54 around (which I think I am at 5'8)). £550ish. Looks like it can be turned into fixed, possibly with a new rear hub/wheel.

Stuff I have discounted - On One Pompino, for the simple reason I have had one before. I liked it, but I want something different. Stupid I know.

Price - I like the idea of £550ish and probably wouldn't want to go too much further than that (ignore costs of mudguards/racks etc. I either have or would get them in addition to that sort of budget).

There's so many single speed bikes - but very few with rack and guard mounts. I'd also not be down with flat bar bikes.

Charge Plug 1 2016 is an option - though it has cantis, which whilst can perform very well, they aren't pretty and you spend your life tweaking them! Hot pink is good though.

What else is there? Happy to look at second hand, but would rather just be able to walk into a shop and give them some money and not have to trawl eBay and classifieds etc.

On One Pompino is usually around £500 and takes a rack and guards. Also has clearances that might just take the thinnest Schwalbe Winter tyres if you have any ice worries. I'm starting to consider one in place of my lovely, but 25mm maximum with guards Trek 4th District.

But I've already had an On One Pompino (I believe it is the law that everyone needs to own one at least once in their lives). I fancy something different - so it's on the (very short) list of bikes I have discounted. Cantis as well - I'm ambivalent about calipers or disc, but really would rather avoid cantis if possible.

I always forget Pearson despite riding past the Sheen shop several times a week.

Good call. £700 isn't impossible. Added to the short list.
