Flares are back in fashion

Riding through Beckenham last night and I kept overtaking a white bike (I was on the Loud bike, so cant show off any prowess) with what I think were "Fibre Flares" on the seat stays, they were really bright, and stood out really well.

I did get a good shot on video, but got home and deleted it...like a fool.

Those flares seem pretty good (despite their crappy advertising video and price)

They are very good, well worth the price methinks. £25 for a good rear light...not bad imo

These look like a great idea for me. I realised on my ride home lastnight that I'm not too visible from the side (from the front I can blind you, but from the side it's just my high viz jacket protecting me I think).

I can confirm that Ian's fibre flare is bloody bright - was drafting him at one point on the Southend FNRttC (heheh) and the flare is pretty bright and quite hypnotic!

Blooming good - pretty bright, but with 360 visibility. I've got two. Anyone at tonight's track meeting can have a poke about with them.
