Maybe another Garforth ride later in the year?

I was thinking maybe again in the autumn!

In case anybody quite fancies the ride, but thinks that they might be too slow for us... We ride at just a steady, chatty pace. I would guess that we will take around 6 hours - 5-ish hours of riding and around an hour of stops. If that sounds okay, sign up below.

Obviously, there will be other riders who would find this pace ridiculously easy. Why not think of it as a nice long(ish) zone 1/2 recovery ride after your more serious training rides earlier that week?

I can’t make the dat as it’s my wife’s birthday and anyways, I’ve not ridden outside for a wee while so a bit of a stretch for my first one back in the real world!

30+ C was going to be way too hot for a 100 km bike ride (even over flat terrain) so I made the necessary arrangements to get the temperature down to a much more pleasant low-20s next Saturday. It is now safe for those put off by the hellish heat to join us...
