Anybody ride their recumbent with flat pedals and sticky 5.10 cycling shoes?

No , safest way is with spd pedals and shoes ,
And less bother than a trip to A&E.

Try a classified ad in A&E weekly, they are still in there with multiple broken bones.

    Toeclips and straps for me.

Yes but bikes not trikes. TBH I prefer normal shoes and trainers. My 5.10s are rather warm and not too grippy but I have the white soled ones.

When I had the trike it was SPD but the two wheeled Bachetta I use flat pedals.
The two wheeler hasn’t the same risks as a trike

As others have said, on the trikes it's SPD's but on the two wheeled LWB "Linear" it's flats.
