Fly12 CE randomly switches on and off

Annoying one this. Last couple of months my fly 12 camera/light seems to turn itself on and off randomly. I’ve been storing the bike in the house and sometimes after getting in I hear the really quite loud startup beeps and it’s recording away. It’s done it 3 times tonight, really annoying.

I had a couple of rides when I thought it was recording but wasn’t. Assumed it had run out of charge but when I switched it on it still seemed to have battery left.

Oh feck it’s just done it again!

I do miss physical power switches on devices!

I found the fly 12 ce a woeful product. I could never switch it off - as a result the only time I could use it was immediately after charging it.

I went back to the original fly 12 - which has its quirks but has been ok.

There's the new fly 12 sport out now - don't know if it's better or not. No shops are stocking it - you have to buy from cyliq direct.

Personally I don't think cyliq will be around much longer .

@kingrollo to be honest I’ve had it since 2019 and up til recently it’s been great. It may be a dicky button contact it as it’s sealed I can’t easily squirt contact cleaner in it.
