Chav!! hahahaha! Am in the nice part of Bedfont me son! hehe!

hahaha, kebab for afters, bit like carrot, dangle, stick! Yes, thanks, am borrowing some 14 watt'ers and getting a helmet light from TESCO's faggs lane, £8, bargain! Infact, ill be producing so much UV, I could cook a kebab on my handle bars! Or give some one a tan!

PS, am thinking of getting a throw away colostomy bag, will help me prepare for my impending old age! Plus I can chuck the reminents at Radius and I lovemybike to slow them down when they get cocky! hehehe!

Good boy!

Simon,

I am more than happy to assist were needed, this will be my 6th FNRttC so it only seems fair to lend a hand. I will probably be fixed for Brighton and I have ridden there 3 times (not all FNRttC's) so I'm fairly confident with the route in places!! I've also got the bed and breakfaster's with me but I can stick them in the peloton whilst I'm "working"

Davey, brakes are only for if you need them at the bottom of the hill, surely?}

Some people arent carrying excess kebab baggage what aids the gravitational pull downhill. Add a factor of tdr1kna drag (no, not a roll up, or womens costume) and coupled with my streamlined physique (pre-2xbreakfasts) and am faster than Superman when he's showing off to Lois Lane! And brakes at the bottom, surely not! That when I get faster! All seriousness, I want to break the 50mph mark. Or 80kph to you funny euro friendly ones! ;)

Riding back is totally over-rated, much better to stay at the breakfast cafe sat in the sunshine until you can be arsed to catch a train.

If you do wait as long as we did (Southend) said train will be completely rammed full by London and you end up wrestling in doorways with your bike, tourists, shoppers, prams etc,etc

Riding back not a bad idea after all?

Anyone fancy a little detour via Birmingham then?

I just need to get back to Euston some time on Saturday. I'll buy an open return on the slower London Midland service and hope there aren't any other bikes on it.

As I will continue to say, St Brian of Audaxia is the God of riding back - but I don't see his name on the list this time.
As it is the FNRttC, I fancy a troll around tC - towards Bognor and then up through Hampshire - to Farnborough

QUOTE MacBludgeon:
there is a plan to go along the coast(West) then climb back up to London, via North Hampshire, thus depositing yours truly safely at home, where you would all be welcome to sign my wife's plastered leg, drink all my beer and Premier Cru - to accompany the finger buffet that my loyal spouse will have lovingly prepared - and then, after a brief rest, continue en route to Staines Feltham, Hounslow, Chiswick and Central Londinium...

Damn! Thiss PC has amind of its own - can't control it...

Anyway, riding back is nice. Hurts but it's nice. A nice hurt! Can't think of any time I have felt miserable - I save that for conversations en route.
Ah! I can scent the ozone now...must be coming from my C drive...

Ah, Aperitif, the welcome at my home should go without saying, cannot guarantee the presence of the lovely Jane though. I believe plans are afoot(sorry) for a day out, wheel chair hiring is being investigated. But that won't stop me ensuring that copious supplies of refreshments are laid in ready, the very least a chap can do:biggrin:
