I was wondering. I've sent out an e-mail today (I think you have replied, for which many thanks) pretty much inviting people to cancel, but, thus far, there's only been one cancellation, and that for social reasons. (I'm not counting ilovebikes as a cancellation, more a hesitation. If he can't slip away from the party and catch the 23.08 from Orpington to Victoria, then the Mouseketeers will presumably remove his epaulettes) (he could even leave home at midnight, and do the 12.3 miles to Hackbridge....)

one might add that the party will be in Leamington Spa, which adds a far more significant (although most definately not insurmountable) detour than the one described above...

I've got an interesting looking sub 200k route from Leamington Spa to the bottom of the beacon (I know its not on this months route but then again I know ILB's proclivities in this area). There are even a couple of flat bits en route so you could even stay a little longer at the party?
