This is why I often find I want my lights on, if not HI rears, in heavy rain on the motorway. You can just about see a car say 40-50m in front of you but you're not sure where exactly they are, if they put some lights on & suddenly they're very visible. The odd wipe of the glove is good enough for me.
I was suprised to see so many road users without lights on. By my house the fog was very thick when I left and the visibilty was reduced to about 30m.
It was a bit of a shock when I suddenly saw brake lights in front of me, but no vehicle!
It's always a bit of a come down when you take the yellow tints off at the end of a ride and realise what a dull miserable day it is.Alas mine were behind the goal when I played footy yesterday and subsequently lost an arm. Felt weird without my orange tints, the cycling world's not the same without them!
