Foggy this morning, how were your glasses?

Much to the annoyance of my other half (c'mon I'm wearing a helmet, what more do you want) I cycled in the fog.

I've got great eyewear but I just couldn't stop it from getting covered in mist and becoming virtually impossible to see through. Anyone got any neat tricks?

Had the same problem.
Just wiped with a hanky everytime I got caught by the lights

The odd wipe of the glove is good enough for me.

I was suprised to see so many road users without lights on. By my house the fog was very thick when I left and the visibilty was reduced to about 30m.
It was a bit of a shock when I suddenly saw brake lights in front of me, but no vehicle!

This is why I often find I want my lights on, if not HI rears, in heavy rain on the motorway. You can just about see a car say 40-50m in front of you but you're not sure where exactly they are, if they put some lights on & suddenly they're very visible.

Here for rides.
Went multi-modal this morning with the brommie rather than die ignominiously in a ditch down a Sussex country lane.

The bruise on my upper arm from last week's foggy morning minibus manslaughter attempt door mirror slappage has started to fade. The memory hasn't.

At the end of the commute it was almost like rain as the fog was starting to dissipate.

I took mine off after a few minutes, as they got really misted up.
Had full lights on, as though it was night time. Better safe than sorry.

Alas mine were behind the goal when I played footy yesterday and subsequently lost an arm. Felt weird without my orange tints, the cycling world's not the same without them!

It's always a bit of a come down when you take the yellow tints off at the end of a ride and realise what a dull miserable day it is.
