From childhood I remember eating kidneys and liver, and then boil in the bag fish.

When I was about 9 one of the girls who lived a couple of doors away used to go into the butchers and buy square lorne sausage and eat it raw.
Sister and I used to watch in amazement while she ate it, we just stuck to the sweets.

Anyone remember Corona and their 'pop at home'? I still have this bottle opener:

Oh goodness - boil in the bag squares of indeterminate frozen fish in a 'delicious' parsley sauce. Ideally served with tinned mixed veg.
How could I have forgotten that treat....:headshake:
There was a white parsley sauce and a yellow ?butter? Sauce? At least that's what I remember.

I love tripe - but then I am a pork butcher's daughter.

As a child, I used to eat raw sausage. Then it was suddenly banned. I have a vision that at first my mother didn't realise the perils of letting me eat it.
AS a kid I used to eat raw sausage meat. When my mum bought sausages I used to pinch one, open one end and eat some of the meat! Wouldn't do it now!xx(

Used to eat raw spuds, turnip, carrot and sprouts.
Also used to eat tomatoes like apples.
Gone right off tomatoes but still "indulge" on occasion when chopping the other stuff.
Good for me too.

1. Curry.
2. Last nights chips fried in Pataks Rogan Josh paste.

I went off curry and spicy food about ten years ago. I only like food I can taste the ingredients now. Most people think it's some sort of hatred of foreign food ha, ha.

white pudding raw....beautiful not too bad fried either.....

White pudding I know about but never tried. On one of our holidays up to the highlands, I went into a fish & chip shop in Fort William and they had red pudding on the menu. Being a nancy boy southerner, I neither asked nor ordered it...
