You need to get yourself to a northern chippy if you want proper food.

I don't have gravy with anything. My Mother's gravy put me right off the stuff. I don't eat poncy food either.
There used to be a good chippy in Askern. We used to get fish and chips there when we went to visit the in-laws, before they died. Our local chippy is bloody good, it has to be said. The quality is far and away better than the 2 excuses for chips shops near our last home.

I went to a poncy restaurant once, with an old BF. One of those tiny portion, huge prices places. Waiter came over and said to my BF "how are you finding your steak Sir", BF replied "I'm using The Force as I've forgotten my reading glasses" Waiter didn't look impressed. We got a bag of chips on the way home.
