I'm wondering what these are. I used to have loads growing on the side of my drive and I really like the glowing violet flowers when the sun is on them. Only have a few growing now thanks to Dad's 'crush them out of existence with rocks' method of gardening my driveway. View attachment 10039

A type of Geranium, I think. This is a lovely plant.

I wondered about that from the leaves, but the flowers don't seem quite right.

NT, can you put a link from the photo on Flickr or whatever, into Google Image search, and use the 'find similar images' feature? Might get something with a name?

A type of Geranium, I think. This is a lovely plant.
Rather than just a type of geranium, those are proper geraniums. The things that most people call geraniums (or, sometimes, scented geraniums) are pelargoniums.
