I actually like Bernat Klein's studio - it reminds me of something out of Captain Scarlet or UFO.

If you want a real Borders eyesore house take a walk on Coldingham Beach. It's been spoilt by this monstrosity, now without scaffolding and up for sale.

They own theirs (his Mum bought it and lived in it until she died), but the ones around theirs have been demolished and the number of houses squeezed onto each plot now! None of which have any car parking spaces or outdoor gardens where neighbours used to socialise over the garden fence.
Some cycling buddies in Glasgow had one. It was a very pleasant house indeed.
