I used to cycle past the Whitwood Tech to go and see my aunty who had a farm on the Nostell Priory Estate near Snydale!

Never knew about the Voysey terrace!... is it still complete? I was involved in the initial setting up of the CFA Voysey Society, but it was rapidly taken over by rich retired people who thought nothing of spending £250 getting together in posh hotels for meetings. Shame as it was really interesting. If you could take some photos of the terrace as it is now, I'm sure they'd be really keen to visit!

Obviously I don't know the name of the farm involved, but, on a co-incidental note, my wife has her company office in the old 'Home Farm' in the Nostell Priory grounds!

Yes it is full & complete

As you can appreciate, there has been some modernisation over the years (& not many are as originally built)
I spoke to a patient, at the Hospital I work at, last year who lived mid-terrace, & she loved the house

She did say that architectural students still visit the row

The Pub is 'The Rising Sun', with The Briggs Memorial Hall' around the back, that serves as an 'annex' for functions (or did, anyway)
