forgot what it was like

With all my bikes being ally.Carbon mix and my old steel racer being very very light I forgot what it was like to ride a sturmey archer geared tank.Went to the shops on the bike below.It was hard work but nevertheless great fun.Still quicker than getting the car out though.
Found it odd not to unclip hope I remember when back on my usual bikes.

I recently acquired a 1979 Raleigh traveller (I really do need to get a camera) with the 3 speed sturmey archer hub and like you say with only the 3 gears it was hardish but dammed good fun
