Can anybody recommend a good cycle forum?

Ideally I'd like to find one without grumpy keyboard warriors, passing judgement on all cyclists who they don't approve of, condemning people riding too posh bikes, or too expensive lycra.

It would be nice to find a forum which saw cyclists as a group of individuals, an affinity group, of whom you don't have to like every member, but you might appreciate that everybody has their own views, abilities, and opinions on what cycling is to them.

The forum I'd like to join would not be full of condemnation of middle aged men in lycra (especially Castelli), it would appreciate that it might be better for cyclists to band together, rather than form cliques and bitch about eachother. It would not contain rants about 'wannabees' (which seems to me to echo the motorists who hate cyclists) doing popular sportives, but would celebrate the success of cycling and the new people getting involved and enthusiastic about cycling.

I guess there's a place for a forum which is dominated by a few forum obsessives, who seem to have each created their own version of 'the rules' which each maintains only in their imagination, from where they can condemn anybody who's got into cycling as it's become more popular, or who rides a bike which is considered in-appropriately expensive for their level of fitness, or lycra too expensive, or who rides 'too fast'.
But increasingly I'm thinking such a forum is not a place for me, hence my request for recommendations.

Bravo OP!

That said, as with sociopath drivers who see cyclists as kill targets, the unpleasantness is a minority. The majority seem reasonable.

And I actually don't mind the ones who get offended by cycling enthusiasts who like "flashy bikes" and "wear full kit". Just comes across as bitterness. But all opinions should be welcomed, even if we disagree with them.

On the whole, the forum is a very good one, with lots of helpful and friendly people. The problem is that there are cliques, and there are bullies. You could always set up your own forum.

Aw diddums.
I've heard golf is a splendid sport.
