Forum ride: Hebden Bridge to Waddington, Sun 18th Sept.

Hi gang.

I'm starting this thread now to give you plenty of notice. I'm booked up for the next couple of weekends but I'd like to do another run out to the Country Kitchen cafe in Waddington on Sunday, 18th September so pencil that date in your diary if you are interested.

I liked the route we did on this Waddington ride so I thought we could do that one again if the weather is good. If it isn't we can chop out a few miles and a couple of hills.

I'll flesh this post out with more detail in days to come ...

I'm interested Colin. I would jump on an early train to HB and get there nice and early; there are trains arriving from Blackburn at 08.49 and 09.49.

Waddington is about seven miles from home so I would just finish there.

10am is the usual start time, and 6ish is the norm for getting back to HB, there are some right slow buggers on these rides

As for finish time ...We are slow and like a long stop at the cafe so I'd guess 17:00 - 18:00.

A group of us will probably ride the Season of Mists audax from Hebden Bridge on Sunday, 2nd October. It is 100 km long with about 2,500 m of tough climbs. If you fancy that, watch out for the ride thread in a week or two.
