Hi all,
Newbie here.
Can anyone help identify?
Amongst a huge collection of vintage items that I am slowly selling was one rather interesting item.
It is a plate that bolts onto the front cycle lamp holder for fitting a certain type of lamp (Guessing).
The accompanying diagram shows rod brakes so although brand new and shiny it is probably 1960's or earlier
It is chrome plated and has 'FRONT written on it and above that is a crease about 1/4" from the top and across the entire 1" width.
Anyone?

Can’t see the diagram.

I assumed s/he meant a diagram accompanying the bracket, not attached to the post!

It sounds like a backplate for hooking some light onto a fork bracket, but the Never Readies I used to use had a bracket shaped like a diamond with rounded-off points (and I think the top one folded over towards the lamp?) and were much later anyway.

I'm in the market for a squeezy grippy centrifugal oscillating inducer - should by chance the item in question be the very same thing

If you have a pic someone might have something more relevant to say.
