*Pannier update*
Handed into Bishopsgate Police station. Hopefully it'll one day be reunited with it's owner whoever that may be!
I was going to suggest that you be very careful if people contact you on here saying it is theirs. There are hundreds of people on here from London and any one of them could say it is theirs.
Now you have giving it into the police station, if anyone does contact you about it, then you can just point them towards the police.

I wonder if it might be worth looking on Strava? Is it London Bridge part of a segment?

Maybe look for someone who appears to speed up rapidly due to a sudden weight loss :P

Just imagine how pleasant the sweaty gym gear will be if in 6 months time there is no claimant and the Police return it!

Most police forces dispose/auction unclaimed found property after a month, with an option to return it to the finder if they wanted it.

Mind you, even a month still offers plenty of opportunity for that gym gear to develop its own consciousness!

I suggest wearing all the gym gear and cruising up and down the street until someone shouts..

On items like this I normally write my mobile number in marker pen/tipex in a small place where it maybe seen if found (but not in general view when riding). This has worked as well, I lost a pannier from a motorbike and got a phonecall. Picked it up and bought the finder a beer or two.
