Had mine on for 4 months, just stripped the frame to swap over something. It looks like I have worn through the patches on both sides of the head tube.

Mine have been on for almost 2 years and haven't worn through yet, with daily riding.

You can put one on top of the other if you're eating through them. Everyone had more than enough to double up on hard wearing sections
