DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I picked this bike up yesterday, having been in a collision with a car. It looks to have broken the RH shifter plus scraped the bars/LH shifter. The seatpost and saddle are missing. There appears to be very little actual use prior to the collision; I'd guess well under 50 miles from the condition of the chain / cassette / tyres / brake track.

Note: it's been checked over and declared fine by an engineer but has been a total insurance loss. The only frame damage appears to be as photographed below on the drive-side stay and seatpost, but they're both a scrape. Should you decide to build it up that's your responsibility. It'd make a lovely turbo trainer frame though.

It's a 58cm carbon 13 Bikes Intuition Gamma from 2020-ish, sold by Halfords for a year or so, retailing originally for £1400. Please note the review's comments about poor braking, which I'd echo. Therefore you don't get the brakes with it: find something better please! The seatpost is a 27.2, BB30 bottom bracket and the rest is pretty standard. I've given it a go and it rides fine. On a turbo trainer you don't need brakes anyway

What I'm offering here for free is the frameset (frame / forks / headset / BB30 bottom bracket) plus handlebars, which are a bit scraped. The outer cables will be left in as well. I'm keeping the wheels, stem plus other components and it'll be available by the end of the week.

Would anyone like it? Collection only please from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF12 or I'll drop it off within a few miles for a coffee and cake as contribition towards petrol.

Available for a couple of weeks and, if there's no takers, it'll go on eBay. And no, I'm not posting it. Sorry, but I've had a bike stolen in the post recently, with no help from the courier (thanks Evri) so am a little more wary.
