More of a neon yellow than a neon green.
Hopefully the bit's I've bought match and don't clash ... I'll post the obligatory photo once they arrive.

Further purchases included some Supercaz bar tape and some Lizard Skins bar end plugs in colour schemes as closely matching the theme as I could find.

The result is a mix of neon green and neon yellow, but for now it is good enough for who it is for. May try and iterate on getting things more closely matched in future?

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I used up the last of my maltodextrin on my midweek 115 km ride. At 01:00 today I ordered a 2.5 kg bag for £9.99 from Bulk, via Amazon, and by the mighty power of Prime it is due to arrive any time now!
And, just like that...

Whatever one might think of Bezos, 15 14(!) hours delivery time is pretty impressive !

For £10 bought a used Planet X carbon fibre fork for my road bike from our local bike recycling shop. The original steel thing weighed a ton. I managed to drill out the rusty seized brake back nut and my local bike shop took their grinder to the rusted on crown race after their £300 Park tool failed to pull it. Worth every penny of the fiver they charged me. I like the idea of installing a troubled, used carbon fork to a bike whose theme is blackness, death and the occult. If the fork fails and I die you may conclude that i brought it upon myself. It looks really good though, and it rides very nicely. Slightly shorter from headset to axle and a little less offset.

I picked up this 13 Bikes Intuition Beta earlier this afternoon. It's had a top RH front impact, breaking the RH shifter and scraping the bars / LH shifter plus a bit on the frame. No seatpost / saddle.

Cleaned up and checked over so far. The rear wheel's a bit out of true, which will be a pain as it's built into the rim. Everything works bar the RH shifting mechanism but it'll probably be parted out.

Edit: threw some pedals on, plus a seatpost and saddle for a short test. Given it's hardly been used the brakes are genuinely atrocious, which now doesn't surprise me that it was in a crash. Just how did Halfords think they could sell this for £1400 with TRP aero/underslung time trial brakes? The above link mentions very poor braking; I tried them and simply sailed on without any measurable response.
