FREE: 700c or 28” Inner Tubes / Pay it forward thread…

Great community here. Much help and enjoyment gotten here from me…..😎

So: new bike arrived today. One that I’d already bought my own choice of pedals for. And then actually came with not one but two pairs included 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🙄

So I’m offering them up here free of charge for anyone in need. You just pay the postage (£3 Tracked Courier) - I’ll do the rest. And perhaps when the recipient gets something they no longer need / upgrade from: they might do the same ? Could be an ongoing thread ??

So:

1. 9/16 Resin platform pedals, rather nifty mechanics tool and nice pedal spanner brand new in box:





2. 9/16 and Smaller resin; racer / gravel bike type pedals. Complete with resin toe clips and nylon straps.





Please reply here if you NEED these: to keep it all open and see-through on a first come first served basis. Once confirmed we can sort postal address through PM’s.

I think it is a very good idea for a thread, although there already is a sub-forum (HERE) for giving things away.

How about posting offers there and adding links to those in this thread?

I have had all sorts of stuff given to me by other forum members, and have given things away myself.

Why have I never seen this thread before! What a fabulous idea! I would like to offer my Raleigh Royal up for anyone who wants a good touring cycle. I bought it new 15 years or so ago and it has done 1000s of happy miles. I took it apart to give it a needed rebuild then I got offered a Koga Miyata and never got around to a rebuild of the Rayleigh and then I found my Genesis. I only need one bike. It is all there except a saddle and free for anyone who would like a project and can't afford to layout big money for a complete tourer. Collect from Kent only I'm afraid 54cm frame will suit 5' 10" 6' 2" rider.

The sizing is confusing me! My 5' 10" pals ride 56 cm bikes. At 6' 1", I ride 58-60 cm, depending on stem length. If a 54 cm bike fits someone 5' 10" to 6' 2" tall then it must be measured in a very unusual way...

Two pairs of inner tubes FREE OF CHARGE: for 700c / 28” wheels if anyone is in need ? Both pairs came off Brand New bikes and have been inflated. But never ridden on.

Postage will be an exact £2.67 via Yodel Tracked; on either or both pairs:

1. 700c x 28c Kenda with smooth bodied, 60mm long Presta Valves. (***Pink elastic bands in picture)

2. 28” / 700c x 35-38c Kenda (?) **I saw these come out of a Kenda Box Brand New !! 40mm threaded Presta Valve. (***Green elastic bands in picture)
