Not sure there is a video within the free2cycle website that states you have to run an app to prove your doing the to agreed miles via commuting. Not just driving all week then doing 50-100 miles on a Sunday lol.
Should imagine as you say though it will be open to abuse !
Seems a great idea but since my work bend over backwards to discourage cycling even with our massively overfilled carpark, I can't see this ever being a goer here.
To be honest, I'm quite sure plenty sniffed when the first CTW scheme was introduced. There will be some national employers falling over themselves to tick an environmental box by offering a scheme such as this. Link that to the threat of paying for a parking space at work and you could find people on both sides may be a bit more motivated. That, and an obvious chance for me to increase my fleet, what could possibly go wrong?
