Free DVD Burner recomendations?

I need to burn some photos from my hard drive on to a DVD, but I don't appear to have the software in order to do it??

Therefore I'm guessing that I need to download some free software? So before I start downloading all sorts of rubbish, can someone point me in the direction of a known decent one please?

CDBurnerXPPro though if it's running Vista or 7 it should support basic drag and drop burning of dvds just by dragging onto the drive with a blank loaded which should add a burn option to the toolbar or sidebar. XP just does cds and doesn't support copying to a non blank cd
