Come on, lukewarm plasticy tasting water is all part of the fun.

Especailly after you have ridden down a country lane where cows are walked to the farm giving the bottle a nice film of eu du cow pat.

I'm the opposite of the op i like warm drinks. I put recently boiled water in my bottle but it cools pretty quickly in cool weather.

You can get bottles that are insulated to keep them cool warm

It's summertime in Houston, so around 35C for the forseeable. This pasty white Scotsman fills up two insulated bottles with ice. First bottle is like nectar, but by time I get to the second bottle the ice has totally melted and is tepid. Thinking about riding the Hotter 'n' Hell Hundred on 23rd August.....which is billed as 100 miles in 100F heat. New drinking / keeping cool strategy required meethinks.

Ok thanks, but i prefer plastic bottles to metal ones. It's no big deal i hardly drink at all when out on my bike, i mainly use water for rinsing my mouth out so a bit of cold water is something i've got used to.
