The horizon is peach coloured, graduating upwards to a lovely light blue. The flats are catching a reddish colour down their sides, but remain mostly shadowy Columns.

I am in bed though, so I care not if it is chilly.

Good run and few pints with a pal last night.

Work snizzle day, but hopefully a decent finish time as we are going out with friends, one pal is cycling there via a pub - must resist as I’m having a one day taper before a race tomorrow😂

brrr, cold ride, no ducks at the pond, but the water lilies are blooming

a warming coffee and biccie, then investigate why the saddle clamp was a bit skew-whiff after umpteen years of stability

As Rihanna once said, work work work work work work…
Early finish, puppy trainer calling up, hair cut and some Bathrooming no doubt.
Prepare shizzle for a ride n the morning and a brick run 😳

The mystery bike fettler has been about.

looks like it had just loosened a smidge then shifted under load, i think it's been slipping a while and i only just noticed, annoying thing is i can't find my notes on measurement to reposition, instead used a photo to eyeball it

took off the saddle and clamp, washed out the years of volcano dust and took the opportunity to check for wear/cracks as the saddle and post are crazy-light ax lightness ones

more coffee

Morning folks,
Shirking from home before an early finish as is now customary for me. Might ride over to the old dear‘s and see my sister. Lots more family arriving over the weekend as it’s my uncle’s funeral on Monday. Got a pub lunch booked on Sunday for 14, that’s without cousins being add to the mix, might get too big if we do that.
Better get on with some work for now, onwards and upwards…

Morning
Another cool and windy morning here again which seems to be the theme. So do I ride today or tomorrow when it will be warmer with less wind.

Morning. Orifice based again but was out and about doing light duties earlier. Hernia support belt is a real bind in this heat.

Coffee: Currently on 2nd mug. More to come.
Might meet with mystery lady later.

Oooo, just had a call from TF tuned to say my shock is being returned on Monday, slightly old and tired but functioning very well.
Just like the rider I suppose.
Now I can take the grandchild to Llandegla!

i've got some, but it doesn't really help with tip of saddle to steerer bolt distance, the clamp bits are all curvy/round and imo have far too many degrees of freedom

anyway, next task is fit new batteries in the srm, it's starting to give the odd cadence spike, which is a sign the old ones are nearing the end, not doing it this week though
