You know how you hear a song and it grabs you so much that you can't stop listening to it?
This is my current infatuation. I just love the warm rich harmonies of these musicians; maybe a fellow musician can explain why this sound is so easy on the ear. I've always dismissed Bluegrass as irritatingly tinkle-plonky but with this band I'm happy to admit that my tastes are heading in that direction. Check out the huge accoustic bass guitar - Bluegrass is essentially music that is played at small venues all over the country so the instruments need to be easily portable.
Once you've listened to this have a look at Old Crow Medicine Show singing Wagon Wheel, which should pop up on the same Youtube page. A strangely memorable video and song.
