Friday night is alternative music night: The Wu-Tang Clan

A niche one, but I know we've got some hip hop fans.

I've been watching the Wu-Tang documentary (Of Mics and Men) with the toddler in the mornings and it occurred to me that you could do a whole Friday night is... just with Wu related stuff. Nine members plus associated artists, samples and influences, soundtrack and film stuff, there's loads.

So let's have anything Wu-Tang related, no matter how obscure the connection. See what you can come up with, and bonus points for anyone who can name all nine of the clan members without looking it up.

Yeah I knew you'd get involved. Have you seen the documentary? It's on Sky at the moment. TBF, there's two of the clan that I tend to forget, and one associated artist who I forget isn't an official member.

Just to show it's not all hip hop, here's the sort of connection I'm thinking of. RZA and GZA were in Coffee & Cigarettes with Bill Murray, directed by Jim Jarmusch. Also in that film were several other musicians including... The White Stripes.

It might be interesting from a Wu-Tang completist point of view but it really doesn't look like you're missing much.
