Interesting how many of these are old. Really old. My two postings that are 10 and 30 years old respectively are way more recent than most of the rest of this thread. Is that just the demographics of this site, or do songs are songs of infidelity a thing of the past?

I'm not sure, maybe it's just that they are more memorable??

Great song covered by a lot of people here's a cover that took me by suprise.

This is the first version I heard of this song.

Apparently the first version, and the first hit was by Gladys Knight and the Pips. There is no "original" version, as it was produced in a factory. The fact that whatever version you remember (Marvin Gaye?) is an accident of history and geography. The Gladys Knight version is pretty good!

Edit: I just listened this to (possibly for the first time). Damn!, it's good!
