Have we had this one yet? Rod Stewart with Mandolin Wind.
Scandalously, the credits on the back of the Every Picture Tells a Story sleeve read "The mandolin was played by the mandolin player in Lindisfarne. The name slips my mind." Probably Ray Jackson then, but possibly Si Cowe, who also played mandolin occasionally, e.g. on the Fog on the Tyne LP. Both LPs are currently in front of me! Slight possibility of it being Martin Quittenton, instead, according to Wikipedia???
Late edit:John Peel performed an embarrassing display of 'playing' the mandolin on Top of the Pops - a low point in his career!

Used to love this band, they were regulars on the London pub & club circuit in the late 1970's
They then faded away, I was utterly amazed to then see them again playing the US Live Aid gig.
They have been doing 50 nights a year of stadium rock in the USA ever since.
No bad for a local pub band !

Have you got them mixed up with some other band ?
