Just post any music that you think constitutes a flashback to happier and less complicated times. Such as this absolute classic by E.L.O. :

Yes, I know it's far from "night" yet in the UK, but I'm in a very different time zone.

Where it was a little before 11am.

In the 90's I worked in Endsleigh Garden Centre in Ivybridge. We had a German come and work with us for the summer to brush up on his English. His name was Ingo Cmok. We became friends. He would sing this song while working. I can still hear "hentz ap, baby hentz ap".

Utter cheese then, a finely matured classic now.....

Laid in a field at a festival in Essex forming shapes out of the coloured stars in the sky and laughing at hot dogs that i thought were fingers in a bun, a proper flashback.

I'm home from work now, so I thought I'd post another flashback, this from 1996, and one of Neil Young's live tracks. Man, can that guy rock! :notworthy: :music:

Life has never been happier, or less complicated, than it is now. :okay:
Your life is simpler now than when you were eight?

Back in 1975 I started working as the 'Saturday lad' at a garage on Nelson St just off London Rd and opposite the end of the street was a music shop called 'Soundpad' part owned by one of the band members, I'd often see em either around the shop or driving a big 'Yank' car when I was doing the Cob Shop run for the mechanics.
