From what I recall, this doesn't get played in the film, but is on the soundtrack LP (yes... I have it:wacko: )& is referred to by 'Frog' (Carrie, played by Sally Field) when she's reunited with Beau (Bandit/Burt Reynolds), as he'd recorded a single, due to his notoriety of the escapades of the first film
Ie; it's The Bandit who (fictionally) released the song, not Burt Reynolds

Then again, its a poor relation to the first film, but still f-a-r superior to the 3rd

Though your hair is all in tangles
And your makeup is a mess
Most of what you're drinking
Is spilling down your dress

And to keep from falling off
Your barstool's 'bout
All that you can do
I'll make my proposition
'Cause I'm just as drunk as you

Let's do something cheap and superficial
Let's do something that we might regret
Let's do something shabby and insensitive
This might be the only chance we get

You got lipstick showing on your teeth
And a run down your hose
Where you got that cheap perfume
God only knows

Now I'll be glad to have you home
Long before daylight
The sun is your worst enemy
Thank God it's dark tonight

Jerry Reed, who played Snowman in the film, co-wrote this, sang it & played lead guitar

East bound and down, loaded up and truckin'
We gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there
I'm east bound, just watch ol' bandit run

Keep your foot hard on the peddle, son, never mind them brakes
Let it all hang out 'cause we've got a run to make
The boys are thirsty in Atlanta and there's beer in
Texarkana
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes
